SUSTAINABILITY

All our products get shipped to you in 100% recycled and recyclable, 400gsm solid board envelops or cardboard boxes. We can’t live out our pink mailing bags and boxes of dreams, but there are clearly bigger issues in the world. For larger orders, we also, where possible, reuse the cardboard boxes that our suppliers use to ship products to us. These will always be marked with a sticker showing that it has been recycled. The packages get sealed with 100% recyclable solvent brown paper kraft tape, this is a great alternative to using cello tape or any plastic based tape.  

 

We don’t use any bubble wrap or single-use plastic in our packaging. Hang on a second, I received my print in a plastic cello bag? All of our prints, and selected items in our stationery line come in clear Bio-degradable and Compostable bags. These bags are made in the UK from annually renewable corn / potato starch and are fully biodegradable which means that they break down to CO2 and water which can then be reused in the eco system to make new plants. This will happen either in home or commercial composting or landfill.

Instead of using bubble wrap to protect your orders, we pad the boxes out with paper wiggly worms to stop your goodies from moving around and getting damaged on their way to you.

 

We work with our suppliers to ensure that our studio isn’t producing massive amounts of waste. We make sure before ordering stock that they aren’t sending us products using single use plastic, or other non-recyclable materials.

All our packages come with a thank you postcard. This is printed on 350gsm recycled silk stock and is FSC approved.
